Boston is clear with light winds, so expect a clean departure. Chicago has low cloud building late morning, which usually means controllers space arrivals further apart — budget 15 to 30 minutes on landing or reaching the gate.
Your aircraft overnighted in Boston, so a late inbound is not a risk this morning. If you are connecting at O’Hare, keep half an hour of slack.
How it works

Flight number, date and departure airport. Have more than one flight? You can add more flights as needed.

Weather, air traffic control, airlines, airports, we use it all for the best possible forecast.
You get your forecast
Before you need it, not after. Early enough to change a seat, a connection, or a plan.
Why not just a flight tracker
A tracker tells you the flight is late. We tell you it’s going to be.
Reports what is happening now. Excellent at it and reactive by design. By the time the status flips to delayed, the rebooking queue is already forty people long and the good seats on the next flight are gone.
Reports what is likely before your flight. You get it early enough that you can still move a connection, pick a different departure, or simply leave for the airport an hour earlier.

A trip is one itinerary — up to 10 flights, there and back. Finished trips free up space, so the limit is how many you track at once, not how many you take. Every plan writes in whatever depth you ask for, from a one-line heads-up to a full briefing. Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see your card.

How is this different from a flight tracking app?
Trackers show you the present. We forecast the day before, combining schedule data, terminal forecasts and operational constraints to flag disruption while you can still act on it.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. The form at the top of this page needs a flight and an email address, nothing else. You get up to three free forecasts that way.
When do forecasts arrive?
Basic sends one forecast around 6 PM local time the evening before departure. Essential and Pro let you choose your own times, from the day before up until departure.
Do I have to install anything?
No. Forecasts arrive by email, and the dashboard is a website that works on a phone.
Are international flights supported?
Yes, as long as one end of the flight touches the US. Routes entirely outside the US are not fully supported yet — get in touch if that is all you fly.
How do billing and refunds work?
Monthly or annual through Stripe, cancel any time from your account page. If you cancel before any notifications have gone out in the current period, email support@flightforecasts.com and we will refund it.
